Historically, Pride Houston is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit that has organized the official Houston LGBT Pride Celebration® which includes the Houston Pride Festival® and Houston Pride Parade® every year in Montrose or downtown Houston promoting public awareness of the need for diversity and equal rights in our community as well as to commemorate and celebrate the history of the gay, lesbian, trans and queer community. We aim to celebrate this cause not only in June but all year round.
We will continue to strive to promote equality and inclusion through celebration and plan for numerous LGBTQIA+ events all year long to support our community.
Full transparency coupled with a goal of celebrating Houston’s LGBTQIA+ community year-round, raising critical funds for youth scholarships, and offering ongoing health and wellness education takes time.
And it equals a 365 days-a-year commitment.
We are thrilled to announce the open registration for the Houston Pride Festival and Houston Pride Parade in 2025 is officially open.
Pride Houston boasts a 47-year history, ranking as the third-largest pride event in the United States and among the top 20 internationally. This legacy stands as a testament to our dedication and commitment to the LGBTQ+ community.
