This is your opportunity to showcase your talent in front of thousands and join a lineup of local Houston LGBTQIA+ performers, national headliners, and allies who celebrate visibility, equality, and empowerment through music, art, and performance. PRIDE HOUSTON® 365 Themed Logo Submission We are inviting our community of creatives to create make history with us! Click to Participate Facebook Instagram Youtube Envelope PRIDE HOUSTON® 365 Celebration Themed Logo Contest Pride Houston® 365 is thrilled to invite our community of creatives to make history! We’re launching a contest to create the official theme phrase along with a themed logo design for our 48th Annual Festival & Parade. The Theme → A powerful phrase that captures the spirit, vision, and message of Pride Houston 48th Annual Celebration Themed Logo → A creative logo design inspired by that theme, which will be featured across official Pride Houston 48 merchandise, promotions, and festival branding. Submit your original design for the Themed Logo Contest and see your work become the signature brand for Houston’s 2026 Pride celebration. The winning logo will be showcased on official merchandise, promotional materials, and across the Pride Houston 365 website. Beyond the honor of shaping one of the largest Pride celebrations in the nation, the winning artist will also be spotlighted in media features, gaining widespread recognition for their creativity and contribution to the LGBTQ+ community. Click to Participate Pride Houston Themed Logo Terms & Conditions By participating in the Pride Houston 365 Theme and Logo Creation Open Call, all participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Eligibility Criteria Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Applicants must reside in the United States and have a verifiable affiliation with the LGBTQ+ community. Employees, contractors, or board members of Pride Houston are not eligible to submit entries. Any individual or group previously disqualified from Pride Houston events is not eligible to participate. Technical Requirements File Formats: AI, EPS, PDF, PSD, PNG, JPEG (vector formats preferred). File Size: Maximum 10 MB per submission. Raster images must be 300 dpi minimum. Resolution: Raster images: minimum 300 dpi at full size; vector files are scalable. Color Modes: Print submissions: CMYK Digital submissions: RGB Include a black-and-white version for versatility. Dimensions: Minimum 2000 x 2000 pixels for raster images. File Naming: Include your name/team name and submission title (e.g., JaneDoe_PrideLogo2026.ai). Originality: Logos must be original artwork and free of copyright infringement. Submission Guidelines Submissions must be completed in full via the official Pride Houston 365 online form. Each participant may submit a maximum of one entry. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. Submission deadlines must be met; late entries will be disqualified. Judging Criteria Entries will be evaluated based on: Creativity and originality. Relevance to Pride Houston 365 and the theme of celebration. Versatility and usability across print and digital media. Overall visual impact and clarity in the creative brief. Judging will be conducted by Pride Houston staff, board members, and community representatives. Prizes And Recognition Winning entries will receive public recognition through Pride Houston channels. Winning entries will receive a dedicated article in the OutSmart Magazine. Monetary awards, event perks, or other prizes may be granted as specified in the contest announcement. Winners may be invited to attend or present at Pride Houston 365 events. Ownership And Recognition The winning logo and any related media created in connection with this open call will become the exclusive property of Pride Houston 365. All other submissions remain the intellectual property of their respective creators. Participants may include the logo design in their personal portfolios. Pride Houston 365 reserves the right to use winning submissions for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes indefinitely following the event. Artists will receive attribution during the 2026 Parade & Festival season as their work is publicly displayed or published. Key Dates Submission Period: Submissions will be accepted from September 1st through October 10th. Board Voting: The Pride Houston 365, INC. board will review and vote on all submissions to select the top five logos from October 10th through October 20th. Public Voting: The public will vote on the final theme and logo from October 20th through November 1, 2025. Original Content and Intellectual Property By participating in this open call, participants warrant that all submissions are original creations, made solely by the participant. Submissions that incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) or any other third-party generative tools may be disqualified. Pride Houston 365, INC. reserves the right to verify the authenticity and originality of all submissions. Disqualification Conditions Submissions may be disqualified for: Plagiarism or use of unlicensed materials. Offensive, inappropriate, or discriminatory content. Late submissions or incomplete applications. Exceeding the maximum number of allowed entries. Permission To Use By submitting an entry, participants grant Pride Houston 365, permission to review, evaluate, and display their submissions for the purposes of this open call.
